Andrew Webster
Andrew Webster

Andrew, born in El Paso, embarked on a journey that spanned cities and professions. His family relocated to Phoenix when he was ten, but the call of his hometown pulled him back in 2015. Andrew’s work history was diverse: from truck driving for two years to serving at a Treatment Center for four. When fate dealt him a layoff, he seized the chance to return to school.

The medical field had always intrigued him, and he set his sights on a nursing degree. At El Paso Community College, he tackled pre-requisite classes and secured a spot in the RN program in fall 2020. Determined to succeed, Andrew poured himself into his studies. Amidst this academic pursuit, he also embraced fatherhood for the first time in the summer of 2021.

Andrew’s heart yearned for the University Medical Center (UMC). His unwavering commitment to education bore fruit, and in December 2022, he graduated. A few weeks later, he faced the NCLEX exam, emerging as an official Registered Nurse (RN). His dream of working at UMC materialized in March 2023. Now, with a fulfilling career, Andrew can provide for himself and his family.
