Director Emeritus, 2005-2012

Richard G. Fleager served as an active member to the Project ARRIBA Board of Directors from 2005 to 2012. He retired from El Paso Electric Company and last served as the Senior Vice President of Customer Care & External Affairs, El Paso Electric. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

He serves on the Board of Directors for: Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce; Boys and Girls Club Foundation; YWCA Foundation; El Paso Regional Economic Development Corporation; and United Bank of El Paso del Norte. He is also Chairman of the Del Sol Hospital Board of Directors; a member of the Development Board at University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP); a member of UTEP’s School of Business Advisory Council; Past Chairman of the United Way of El Paso; and Co-chairman of the Economic Development Committee for the Paso del Norte Group.

Richard Fleager is a native El Pasoan who graduated from Cathedral High School and received his BBA and MBA from the University of Texas at El Paso.
