Martha Rochford was the Area Business Banking President at the Wells Fargo Bank Business Banking Unit which provides banking, insurance, investment, mortgage and consumer financial services to businesses in El Paso. Ms. Rochford retired from Wells Fargo Bank June 2015.
During her 30 year career she has held a variety of positions in financial services including commercial banking, international treasury services, government financing and risk management and consulting in financial advisory services. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Bank in 2008, she was an Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase Bank with national responsibility for managing the export finance program for the international treasury division.
A native of El Paso, Texas, Ms. Rochford earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona.
Prior to moving to El Paso in 2007, Ms. Rochford was involved in numerous community and charitable organizations including the U.S. Mexico Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce International Trade Services committee, member of the Greater Dallas Chamber International Business Advisory Leadership Council, member of the Banker’s Association of Finance and Trade (BAFT) Trade Finance and Small Business Committee and a board member for the St. Thomas Aquinas Parent’s Association. Currently, Ms. Rochford serves on the Board of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Project ARRIBA.
Ms. Rochford resides in El Paso, Texas. She is the mother of five children, Ryan Gentry, Joseph Gentry, Erin Rystad, Emily Rochford and Mary Rochford. She is a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
